James Lutheran School in Chicago. St. James Lutheran School was founded in 1857 and is the longest continuously running school in the city of Chicago. St. James engages each child in a challenging academic environment that empowers and inspires our students to recognize their individual gifts.
We offer a mix of progressive and traditional teaching methods that can accommodate children with different learning styles. Our smaller class sizes allow for more individual attention for each student.
Energized by Christian faith, students develop a social responsibility to the world around them. Upon graduation, our students enter high school as compassionate leaders who are empowered to excel using their God-given talents.
Love. Learn. Lead.
